Atsuhide Ito

Painter. Based in London, England.

Ito trained in painting and anthropology. He’s been involved in several art projects, including curation of the exhibition Minus One at the disused Aldwych underground station, London, 2004, involving 30 international artists. Recently he completed a series of 55 paintings 'Separate Landscape (2002-2006)', after four years of research on the subject of landscape and non-place. Publications include Dear Thank You Yours Sincerely, (Pocko Editions 2001).
