Second from atmospheric trio is a thing of beauty.
Unsurprisingly for a signing to David's Sylvian's label, SBP offer warmly sung ballads laced with electronic experimentation. The balance between radical and romantic is perfectly judged as "a kind of concept about love" moves in mysterious ways from "Here It Begins" to "Here It Will End". Melodies and laptop loops co-exist blissfully, with Tim Elsenburg's tidal voice caressing "dreams all black and pistol-whipped". That the 30-voice choir finale, a touch Bon Iver, is all him is just one of the many miracles this jewel yields.
